AUSTIN, Texas – The Wiley College women's soccer team extend their record-breaking winning streak to six after defeating Huston-Tillotson 3-1 Saturday in a Red River Athletic Conference game.

The Lady Wildcats (6-2, 4-0 in RRAC) also set new program records for longest unbeaten streak, longest conference winning streak, the strongest start in conference play and tied their record for longest unbeaten streak in RRAC play.

"It's a great feeling," said head coach Alexandra Neumann – who tied Cristine Aquino for second most wins in program history. "The game was won with pure heart by everyone on the team."

Miguianne Boldrin (SO/Brazil) started the scoring with her fourth goal of the season in the 22nd minute. It was her second goal this week and gives her five points. Boldrin recorded an assist in Thursday's victory over Our Lady of the Lake.

The lead was short-lived as the reigning RRAC Offensive Player of the Week Kimberlin Palacios put one past Keri Myers (SR/Carapichaima, Trinidad & Tobag) in the 24th minute to tie the game. With less than two minutes in the first half, Evelyn Saenz (FR/McAllen, Texas) regained the lead for Wiley College with her third goal of the season.

Kayla Taylor (SR/Santa Flora, Trinidad and Toba) – who is the Lady Wildcats' all-time leading scorer – added an insurance goal for her team-high fifth of the season. The goal with her two assists in Thursday's victory gives Taylor four points this week.

"Everyone has embraced their role on this team," Neumann said. "They are committed to making themselves and the team better every day."

Myers – the reigning RRAC Defensive Player of the Week - stopped five of six shots to improve to 5-1 on the season. The Lady Wildcats had to defend against two corner kicks.

Wiley College returns home to begin a six-game homestand Thursday with Louisiana State University-Alexandria – which is receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll - in a battle for sole possession of first place in the Red River Athletic Conference.
