Goldsby three-peats as HBCUAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Wiley University men's cross country runner Javoun Goldsby continues his reign atop the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) as he wins his third straight Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award for September 9-15.
Goldsby, the 2024 HBCUAC Preseason Men's Runner of the Year, ran 30:16.5 in the Southwestern University Showdown's eight-kilometer race which finished in the top half of the 66-man field which were mostly from NCAA Division III schools. He ran at a 6:05 mile pace and just over a minute off his personal best. The Wildcats will run at Dallas Baptist University's Old Glory Gallop on October 5.
