Guillory wins GCAC Pitcher of the Week
After recording career highs in his second career start, Wiley University freshman pitcher Keyon Guillory wins Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for February 5-11.
Guillory pitched five innings in the second game against Sterling College on Friday, which is his longest of the season. He struck out a career-high seven batters. Only one of the three runs he allowed were earned. Guillory ranks second in the conference with a 2.25 earned-run average and fourth with 10 strikeouts.
This is the first GCAC weekly honor won by the Wildcats this season. They return to the diamond on Tuesday for a doubleheader against Texas College.
