Smith’s passion for technology began with childhood gaming sessions, ultimately evolving into a distinguished career at the intersection of artificial intelligence and data science. She currently serves as a Senior Analyst on the Generative AI team at Uber Technologies. Her extensive industry background also includes contributing to cutting-edge AI research at Google and serving as a developer for a leading educational technology firm.

Dedication to Education and Research

An educator at heart, Smith began her professional journey as a middle school teacher in 2019, where she earned a "Most Innovative Award" for her forward-thinking integration of classroom technology. Over the past six years, while completing her doctoral studies, she has shared her expertise as an adjunct statistics instructor at both the University of Texas and Wayne State University, while simultaneously contributing to major academic research projects.
