Men's Basketball heads to No. 4 Langston
The Wiley University men's basketball team will continue its road swing at Langston University, which is ranked No. 4 in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Wildcats are coming off a 58-54 loss at Texas College on Friday. They allowed an 11-point first half lead to slip away – ending their three-game winning streak. Delor Johnson recorded his sixth straight game with 20 or more points by scoring 20. He also led the team with eight rebounds and four assists.
Langston (2-0) won the Sooner Athletic Conference last season and advanced to the round of 16 at the 2023 NAIA Tournament. It is coming off a 76-59 victory over Midland University on November 11. Anthony Roy is the Lions' leading scorer with 18 points per game. Ronald Mitchell Jr. follows at 15.5 points per game. G'Quavious Lennox is also averaging double-figures with 12.5 points per game. Toru Dean and Roy are averaging 6.5 rebounds per game. Dean averages six assists per game.
Wednesday will mark the 41st meeting between the Lions and Wildcats. The series is tied at 20 after the Wildcats have lost the last three meetings, including last season's 65-61 loss in the Austin Area Urban League Historically Black Colleges and Universities Invitational. This will be the Wildcats first trip to Langston since January 13, 2018, when both schools competed in the Red River Athletic Conference.
