Men's Cross Country completes Lois Davis Invitational
MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Wiley College men's cross country team finished its first eight-kilometer race at the Lois Davis Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas University Friday.
The Wildcats were led by Joseph Levier III who finished the race in 31:40.7. Javoun Goldsby and Michael Lewis followed at 32:34.4 and 33:26.6. Channing Arvie (35:04.6) and Tyvonne Allen (36:53.2) rounded out the scoring for the Wildcats, who finished seventh with 192 points. They topped Arkansas-Monticello who finished with 203.
Southern Arkansas won with a score of 18 as all five runners finished in the top 10. University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff followed with 39. Ouachita Baptist finished with 78 and University of Arkansas-Rich Mountain followed at 124.
Wiley College will run for its first Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship next week at the Oakville Indian Mounds Education Center in Decatur, Ala.
