Women's Basketball bites back with a Vengence

Marshall, TX- On Friday, 14Wiley College's women's team took on Paul Quinn where they won by an astounding 134-36 margin

This game gave unseen players a chance to stand out on the court with Sophomore Bria Jackson hitting a season high of 27 points in addition to 4 steals. Also standing out was sophomore Alexis Bernstine with 18 points 9 rebounds, and four steals.

Saturday night was the night that Wiley College Women's Basketball expressed their love for their seniors that they have on the team. The team holds five seniors with each of them making a different impact with Senior Kayla Brown making the 1,000 point club down to players hitting career highs on all levels of the game.

During this night each of the players had their families and friends there in support of the seasons played for the Women's Basketball team and Wiley College.

The squad was ready to show Texas College that their first loss of the season was a mistake and finished the night beating conference rival Texas College 119-87 with senior Gelese Lampton leading the team with 27 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and one block.

The Lady Wildcats are now 19-2 with a conference record of 13-2.
