Women's Basketball visits Centenary College
The Wiley College women's basketball will head to Centenary College of Louisiana for a non-conference game at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Gold Dome.

The Lady Wildcats (4-1) are coming off a 74-57 victory over Talladega College at the 2022 Dallas Historically Black Colleges and Universities Invitational. Kaitlyn Davis led all scorers with 18 points. She hit six field goals with three from 3-point territory. Kayja Jackson and Alaeh Pressley also finished in double digits with 16 and 12 points, respectively. Diamond Hawthorne pulled down a team-high nine rebounds. Jay'lann Myles contributed seven points, seven rebounds and four steals.
Centenary (0-3) has dropped its first three games and is coming off a 103-28 exhibition loss to the University of Louisiana-Monroe. The Ladies are in their second season under Dana Dunson. Alana Jones leads the team with 13 points per game. Jazzmyn Jones follows with 10.7 points per game. She leads the team with 6.3 rebounds per game. Alana Jones leads the Ladies with three assists per game.
The Lady Wildcats and Ladies have met eight times – with most of their meetings occurring during the 1980s. Wiley College has only won twice with its last coming in 1984. It is 2-1 playing away from Alumni Gymnasium.
