The Lady Wildcats (10-7, 5-4 GCAC) are looking to end a two-game losing streak after falling 76-56 against Dillard University on Friday. For the second straight game, they played without leading scorer Jamiya Eaddy. They were scheduled to play Southern University at New Orleans on Saturday, but the Lady Knights didn't have enough players. The programs are arranging a makeup date.

Ashunti Cooper posted a career-high of 23 points in Friday's game – hitting nine of 14 shots and three of five 3-pointers. She won Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week, notching the third weekly honor by the Lady Wildcats this season. Wiley enters this week's games ranked fifth in the conference standings – trailing Dillard by a half-game for fourth. It leads Oakwood by 1.5 games.

Fisk (11-6, 8-1 GCAC) didn't play last week with its games against Tougaloo College and Rust College being postponed by weather. The last time it took the court was on January 13. The Lady Bulldogs are tied with Rust for first in the conference. Maya Buckhanon is dominating during GCAC play, averaging 22.4 points and 15 rebounds per game. She put up 26 points and 23 rebounds in the December 7 game against Wiley.

Oakwood (5-11, 3-5 GCAC) also didn't play last week. It is ranked sixth in the conference.
