Bio

Kailyn Watkins joined the women's basketball coaching staff in August 2025. She completed her playing career at Alcorn State University. She played in 107 games over four seasons, with 10 starts, recording 146 rebounds, 78 assists, and 70 steals. Watkins was a strong student in the classroom, earning the Braves Academic Award for the highest GPA. The Alcorn alumna is passionate about developing young athletes on and off the court. She graduated with her Bachelor's in psychology and her Master's in secondary education with an emphasis on clinical mental health counseling in 2025.
