PINEVILLE, La. - The Wiley University women's soccer team could not generate offense in a 3-0 loss against Louisiana Christian University Wednesday at Wildcat Field.
The Lady Wildcats (1-5, 1-0 CAC) fall to 0-4 on the road. They were unable to get a shot. Destiny Allison stopped eight of 11 shots. Louisiana Christian put up 26 and had six corner kicks.
The match was scoreless through 43 minutes. Wiley allowed two goals in the last two minutes of the half. A goal in the 55th minute made the margin insurmountable for the Lady Wildcats.
Wiley will conclude the road trip with a match at Centenary College of Louisiana at 4 p.m. Sunday. The Ladies are searching for their first win after falling against Millsaps. They host LeTourneau University on Saturday.
