Women's Soccer heads to Arlington Baptist
Wiley University women's soccer returns to action with a match at Arlington Baptist University at the Oakridge School Soccer field at 5 p.m. Friday.
The Lady Wildcats (4-3-0) will play their seventh consecutive match away from Pemberton Field. They were scheduled to play Texas Wesleyan University at home on Wednesday, but the match was canceled due to rain. Wiley hopes to end a three-match losing streak, in which it has scored only one goal.
Arlington Baptist (0-6-0) seeks its first victory. The Patriots have scored only three goals and given up seven or more in five of their matches. They had their best showing Tuesday, in a 3-1 loss against Randall University.
Friday's match will mark the second meeting between the Lady Wildcats and Patriots. Wiley won 4-0 last season. The teams will rematch on October 3 at Pemberton Field.
