Women's Track and Field head to Prairie View A&M Relays

The Wiley University women's track and field team will travel to Prairie View, Texas, for the Prairie View A&M University Relays on Friday and Saturday at the Prairie View A&M Track and Field Complex.

The Lady Wildcats will not compete in field events. Running events start at 4 p.m. on Friday and 2:10 p.m. on Saturday. The Lady Wildcats will begin Friday with the 400-meter dash. Kaiden Taylor will run after finishing in 1:01.97 at the Jim Mize Invitational last week. She will also compete in the 200-meter dash. LaDaija Thomas will look to continue dropping her time in the 400-meter hurdles. She ran 1:13.84 at the Jim Mize Invitational last week. Thomas also set a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles (16.63). 

Saturday's events will start with the 4 x 100-meter relay. It will be followed by the 100-meter hurdles, the 100-meter dash finals and the 4 x 400-meter relay. Start lists are not posted for Saturday's events.
