Tutt-Moutouo earns third consecutive HBCUAC Field Athlete of the Week
For the third consecutive week, Wiley University women's track and field athlete Meeyesha Tutt-Moutouo rose to the top of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) as Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for March 17-23.
Moutouo was within striking distance of qualifying for the 2025 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championship. She leaped 5.23 meters in the long jump at the Prairie View A&M University Relays, 0.52 meters shy of the 'B' qualifying standard. Moutouo jumped her furthest distance in the triple jump at 11.17 meters, 0.54 shy of the 'B' qualifying standard.
This is the fifth weekly award won by the Lady Wildcats. Ariel Johnson won Track Athlete of the Week the previous two weeks. Wiley will return to action April 4-5 at Harding University's Chick-Fil-A Bryan Phillips Open.
