Tutt-Moutouo impresses at McNeese Indoor Invitational I

Wiley University women's track and field athlete Meeyesha Tutt-Moutouo turned in three podium finishes during the McNeese Indoor Invitational I on Friday at the McNeese Recreation Complex.
The Lady Wildcats competed against mostly National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) athletes. Some were from NJCAA schools.
 
Tutt-Moutouo finished runner-up in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.90. She turned in third-place finishes in the long jump (5.24 meters) and triple jump (10.28 meters). Her distance in the long jump was 0.37 meters from the 'B' national championship qualifying standard.
 
Malajia Bocage finished runner-up in the 55-meter hurdles (9.85) and third in the 55-meter dash (7.96). Tikiera Miller led the Lady Wildcats in throws with 12.59 meters in the weight throw and 10.06 meters in the shot put.
 
Wiley will head to the FasTrak Athletix Collegiate Challenge at the University of Houston on January 24.
