Women's Cross Country travels to UT-Tyler

Wiley University women's cross country gears up for its second meet of the season on Saturday at the University of Texas at Tyler's Season Opener at the Texas Rose Horse Park.

The five-kilometer race will follow the men's 8K at 8:30 a.m.

 

 

This is the second straight season the Lady Wildcats have run at the UT-Tyler Season Opener. Ja'Katelyn Thomas led the team last season with a time of 27:36.7. Remi Pierre followed at 28:45.1.

The Lady Wildcats opened the season on August 29 at Texas Christian University's John Mackenzie Invitational. Kaiden Taylor led the team with a time of 26:42.5. Pierre and Inajia Jefferson followed at 29:32.88 and 29:48.97, respectively.

 

Following this meet, Wiley will compete at the University of Louisiana-Monroe Invitational on September 12.
